Sangria!

I always liked red wine, but lately it has become my drink of choice.  Since it's summer, I have taken it to the next obvious step - making sangria.

My latest experiment already tastes great after only 30 minutes in the fridge.
One bottle dry red wine
Two cans Gingerale
1 Lemon, sliced
1 Orange, sliced
1 cup mixed berries (I used frozen)
2 oz. Disaronno
2 Tb. sugar (optional)

Throw it all in a pitcher, let stand in the fridge for as long as you can wait!  And this one will be easy to cut in half - In retrospect that would have been a good plan since my husband doesn't like wine or sangria, I may have to invite the neighbor to help me drink it.

Next time, I will try using watermelon.
